After her work as an elementary school teacher, Anita Allemann completed the graphic design course at the School of Design in Biel. She then worked for eight years as a graphic designer and art director at the renowned Zurich design agency "Raffinerie." Since 2016, she has been working as a freelance illustrator, dividing her time between her homes and workplaces in Berlin and Bern. Her illustrations are characterized by their simplicity and directness, while consistently leaving space for narratives and a touch of humor.
